Jan Cooper

Director, Strategy, Research & Innovation Deloitte Services LP

Jan Cooper has 30 years of multi-industry experience, ranging from entrepreneurial companies to Fortune 500 corporations. She currently serves as a firm director with Deloitte, a professional services firm serving clients in more than 130 countries. During her career, Jan has held a number of senior leadership assignments in strategy, research, marketing and business development, and has lived in the US, France, Japan and India. Before joining Deloitte, she served in leadership positions with United Medical Resources, CoresStates Financial Corporation and ExxonMobil. Jan holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial management and industrial engineering from Purdue University, an MBA in finance and marketing from Louisiana State University, and a law degree from Suffolk University Law School. In addition to her involvement with United Way’s Women's Initiative, Jan serves on the boards of Project Place and Hospitality Homes (where she also chairs the Strategic Planning Committee), and is a member of The Boston Club.

Carla Marcinowski

President, Sally Silver Companies

Carla Marcinowski has over 25 years experience in the high tech industry, focusing on consulting services, marketing, business operations and sales ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies. In 2004, Carla joined Sally Silver Companies, a professional staffing and executive placement firm specializing in staffing the full software development lifecycle. While at Sally Silver, she has accelerated the growth of the marketing and professional services practice areas. Prior to this, Carla held executive management positions at Lightbridge Inc., a wireless software and services company. She also held management positions at Lotus Development Corporation (IBM) and AT&T. Carla holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bryant College. She is a member of The American Management Association, the Massachusetts Software Council and The National Association of Female Executives. She also serves on the board of The Boston Club, has been a vice-chair for the United Way Women’s Leadership Committee, The Commonwealth Institute Breakfast of Champions Committee, the Daniel Marr Boys & Girls Club Leadership Committee and The Boston Club’s Strategic Planning Committee.
